Plant Operations Waste Treatment Plant
Shift: 8:00 am-4:30 pm
Minimum Qualifications:
One year of experience in the performance of duties of routine difficulty while receiving instruction in the tasks required of a shiftoperator at a water treatment or waste water treatment plant. Required certification: Georgia class IV certification as a water or waste water treatment plant operator as required by the certification of water and wastewater plant operations act. Certification as a water treatment plant operator and/or wastewater treatment plant operator shall depend upon the type of plant to which assigned. Operators designated as being “in reasonable charge” of a water or wastewater treatment plant, as defined and categorized by the certification of water and wastewater treatment plant operations act. May be required to receive certification as a class III operator. (interim)
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Possess a Georgia Class III Certification as Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator. Experience with Anaerobic Digesters.
