Water/Wastewater Electrical Mechanical Technologist II- Forsyth County Water Dept: Non-exempt $15.40/hr. Performs administrative and technical tasks to complete preventive maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical and communication equipment at the water and wastewater pump stations, lift stations, and water tanks. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent with one to two years experience in the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical and/or electronic equipment at water and wastewater pump/lift stations; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Must possess and maintain certification in water distribution, wastewater collection, and a commercial driver’s license within one year of hire. Must submit 7-yr MVR with application.
