Layne Christensen Company is currently seeking Sales Engineers in our Pensacola Florida and Savannah Georgia offices. Responsibilities include project management as well as meeting with municipal governments, industrial customers, and engineering firms concerning water supply wells and pumping and water treatment equipment. The individual will also be responsible for estimating and quoting projects, purchasing project materials, preparing project reports and summaries of progress, invoicing projects upon completion, and assisting Operations Managers with project procedures and scheduling. Sales Engineers are the principle contact for customers and work closely with field crews on providing our services.
An engineering or geology degree is desirable, however it is not mandatory. Prior experience in the water supply industry with water wells, pumping systems, and water treatment equipment along with a good mechanical aptitude can be sufficient to meet the requirements. WWTP Operator
Woodard & Curran, a leading environmental and contract operations firm,
is seeking a full-time Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Operator in
Atlanta, GA. This position is responsible for operating the WWTP in
compliance with applicable local, state, and Federal environmental
requirements, including performing daily rounds, assisting with
equipment repairs, and troubleshooting and correcting operational
problems. Other responsibilities include grounds keeping, pressure
washing, sweeping, cleaning, and shoveling. 12 hour shift work,
including nights, weekends and legal holidays as required.
Qualifications:
Georgia Grade III or higher wastewater operator license
Minimum one year of professional experience in the operation and
maintenance of a water treatment facility
High School graduate or equivalent, with technical/vocational school
background
