Water Treatment Plant Operator
The Ellijay Gilmer County Water & Sewerage Authority is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Water Plant Operator at our 4 mgd water treatment plant. Candidates must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs or more on a frequent basis, walk up and down stairs, and be able to wear a respirator when needed. Applicants must possess a state of Georgia Water Plant Operators certification or have the ability to obtain a certification within 6 months. Position also requires a valid Georgia Driver’s License, the ability to work day or night shifts, weekends, and holidays. We offer an excellent benefit package.
