The Eatonton – Putnam Water & Sewer Authority is seeking qualified applicants for the position of EATONTON – PUTNAM WATER & SEWER AUTHORITY DIRECTOR. Qualified applicants must have knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of a college degree or equivalent obtained through self-study or practical experience related to water and wastewater system operations, maintenance and construction. A Civil Engineering degree or related experience would be desirable but not required. Qualified applicants must also have sufficient management and planning experience to thoroughly understand and deliver on the Authority’s Leadership Objectives and annual goals for the operation and management of the water and wastewater system; usually interpreted to require 3 to 5 years of related experience and proven business results. Qualified applicants must also have possession of, or the ability to obtain Georgia certification for Water and Wastewater treatment, distribution and/or collection systems. The successful applicant will be responsible for the operations, planning, management, and financial performance of the Authority’s water and sewer system.
This is a full-time position and compensation will be based on qualifications.
