WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR NEWTON, COUNTY
Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator - The Newton County Water & Sewerage Authority seeks an individual to perform the skilled duties associated with the operation of a water reclamation facility. The candidate must demonstrate a complete understanding of treatment processes and the skills necessary to operate equipment and perform process control test, ensuring regulatory standards are met. The candidate must be able to work an on-call status and perform overtime as assigned. Individuals considered for the position shall have a High School Diploma or GED and a Class III Wastewater Operator Certification. Salary commensurate with experience and level of certification.
