We are currently seeking a part-time Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator
in McDonough, GA. This position is responsible for the operation and
general maintenance of equipment at a food processing industrial
pretreatment facility. Primary focus will be in operation and
maintenance of facilities equipment and process control. Hours for this
position are Saturday, Sunday and Holidays, 4 hours each day.
* Georgia Grade III or higher wastewater operators license
required
* Minimum one year of professional experience in the operation and
maintenance of a wastewater treatment facility
* Knowledge of lab testing (MLSS and ammonia), belt filter press
operation, polymer systems, and pumps
* High School graduate or equivalent, with technical/vocational
school background
* Applicant must possess a valid Drivers License and a good
driving record and must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds on a
regular basis

The City of Lavonia is currently accepting applications for a Class III or higher Water Treatment Plant Operator. Qualified candidates must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs or more on a frequent basis, walk up and down stairs, and must be able to work any shift, weekends and holidays as needed.
