WATER RESOURCES ENGINEER ROSWELL, GA.
Oversee plans & programs for watershed management & related infrastructure. Coordinate the City’s participation in the Community Rating System (CRS) & the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). Review planning for development sites & construction projects. Assists in compliance with NPDES, including water quality improvement & protection, TMDL implementation, use & protection of receiving water bodies, & pollution prevention. Work involves explaining codes & corrective requirements to developers, contractors, property owners, & the general public.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, Environmental Planning or closely related field; with six years of experience in construction, engineering, surveying, & related trades work involving supervisory responsibility. Must possess & maintain a valid GA DL. Must possess & maintain certification in Erosion Control Fundamentals & NPDES & thorough knowledge of NPDES permit requirements & MNGWPD programs & policies.

Water Treatment Plant Operator Baldwin Ga (2)
The City of Baldwin has two Water Treatment Plant Operator positions available and is currently seeking both a Class I Water Treatment Operator and a Class III or higher Water Treatment Operator. All applicants must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and all shifts. Additionally they must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs, walk-up and down stairs, climb ladders, and operate lawn mowers, gas trimmers and other lawn care equipment. A current Georgia Driver’s License in good standing is also a requirement. Salary will be commensurate with License Level and experience. Responsibilities
Woodard & Curran is currently seeking a full time Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator in McDonough, GA. This position is responsible for the operation and general maintenance of equipment at a food processing industrial pretreatment facility. Primary focus will be in operation of facilities equipment and process control. Hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 10 PM to 6:30 AM.
Qualifications
• Georgia Grade III or higher wastewater operators license preferred
• Minimum one year of professional experience in the operation and maintenance of a wastewater treatment facility
• Knowledge of lab testing (MLSS, phosphorous, and ammonia), dissolved air flotation, belt filter press operation, polymer systems, and pumps
• High School graduate or equivalent, with technical/vocational school background
• Applicant must possess a valid Drivers License and a good driving record and must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Woodard & Curran, a leading environmental and contract operations firm, is seeking a full-time Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Operator in Atlanta, GA. This position is responsible for operating the WWTP in compliance with applicable local, state, and Federal environmental requirements, including performing daily rounds, assisting with equipment repairs, and troubleshooting and correcting operational problems. Other responsibilities include grounds keeping, pressure washing, sweeping, cleaning, and shoveling. 12 hour shift work, including nights, weekends and legal holidays as required.

Public Works Superintendent Clarkesville, Ga.
The City of Clarkesville is accepting applications for the position of Public Works Superintendent until May 4, 2007. This person is responsible for the technical oversight and general supervision of the maintenance of water distribution lines, sewer collection lines and city streets and refuse collection operations.
Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid Georgia driver's license. The successful candidate should already possess Georgia issued licenses for water distribution and wastewater collection or be able to obtain them within one year. Experience in supply, maintenance of facilities and equipment, and basic engineering and construction functions is desirable. Salary is dependent of qualifications and experience.
