The City of Port Wentworth is seeking applicants for the position of Director of Public Services.
The Director is responsible for directing the daily operations of the Public Services Department. Work involves planning, prioritizing and supervising the activities of Water and Wastewater, Streets, Solid Waste, and Storm water Divisions.
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or related technical field.
Applicant must possess eight years related work experience with three years supervisory experience. Preferred applicant will have substantial experience in water and wastewater with local government. A Class II Water License and Class II Wastewater License preferred.
This is a full-time position with full city benefits. Salary depends on qualifications. The City will accept applications until the position is filled. The City of Port Wentworth is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
