WATER SERVICEMAN: The City of Monroe is accepting applications for the position of a WATER SERVICEMAN with the Water and Gas Department. The person applying for this position should have experience in the installation, repair, and maintenance of water lines and mains. Classification B Driver=s License is required. Qualified applicants should have a high school education and having had sufficient experience in a similar position for one to two years, and preferably having a Water Distribution License. Skills must include the ability to repair and install water lines and mains; the ability to operate such equipment as backhoes, trackhoes, tractors, and other related equipment.
