Entry Level Salary - $42,976 /YR (Depending Upon Experience/Years of Certification)
Minimum Qualifications: Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent; Must possess at least 5 years experience in the job related field; Possession of or ability to readily obtain an appropriate state-certified license for water or wastewater treatment or distribution as appropriate; Must possess a valid State of Georgia Drivers License; Must pass a drug screen test and physical examination
Job Duties Include But Are Not Limited To: Plans, directs and manages wastewater treatment plant, lift station operations and wastewater lab activities; schedules and coordinates maintenance and repair of plant equipment; drafts and updates laboratory quality assurance manual; assigns, supervises and evaluates work for wastewater treatment personnel; tests wastewater performance evaluation samples as required by EPD/EPA; monitors operations, adjusts procedures and methods to comply with permits, regulations and department policies and procedures; assists with budget planning; trains, counsels and disciplines subordinate personnel; orders and maintains laboratory equipment; `maintains state lab certification for wastewater laboratory and performs all quality assurance testing for both water and wastewater.
