Work Schedule: 40 hours/week, permanent weekend night shift
Training- M-F Day shift (6:30 am to 3 pm) for approx. 1st 30 to 60 days;
Schedule after training is complete: Friday night, 10:30 pm to 7 am; Saturday and Sunday night, 6:30 pm to 7 am; Monday night 10:30 pm to 7 am.

Primary Job Duties: The purpose of this position is to maintain operational function of both a small water plant (~3.5 MGD) and a poultry wastewater treatment facility. Maintain effluent compliance; perform repairs and maintenance as necessary; maintain daily log sheets; adhere to all safety requirements, other duties as required by supervisor or manager.

Experience Requirements: The ideal candidate will possess strong reading, writing, math, and communication skills. A high school diploma or GED is required. Georgia Wastewater Operator's License and/or Georgia Water Operator's License, any level, is preferred, but not required. Experience in water or wastewater treatment preferred, but other applicable experience such as maintenance, will be considered.

Pay depends on experience and certification level. Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, paid holidays, etc, available after 90 days. Paid vacation after 1 year.

Basic Qualifications:

* Understanding of the technical aspects of the facility to be managed
* Excellent knowledge of project finance and bonus modeling process
* Demonstrated interpersonal relations and personnel management skills
* Willingness to travel approximately 25%

Project Description: The Barnesville project consists of a 6.0 mgd surface water treatment plant, a 1.2 mgd trickling filter wastewater plant, and the Street Department. The Street Department is responsible for patching potholes, ditch maintenance, right of way mowing, yard debris collection and cleanup.
