Water Utility Management, LLC. seeks maintenance personnel.
W.U.M. is a private company in Savannah, GA that owns and operates water and wastewater systems from Statesboro to Waycross, serving over 9,000 homes.
Company has attractive pay, with bonuses, health insurance, and a 401k and profit-sharing plan. Company will provide employee with cell phone and a company truck. Leadership opportunities available, as well as an autonomous working environment.
General duties include:
-repairing leaks
-servicing wells and well equipment
-handling and servicing gas chlorine and equipment
-installing water infrastructure (new installs, expansion, and replacement)
-operating some heavy equipment
-reading water meters
-performing collection services in the field (locking customer meters)
-basic understanding of electrical controls and components
-employee must be available to work overtime on-call, according to a schedule
** Employee must be 21 or older, pass a background check, and be insurable in a company vehicle.
Seeking utility workers with some experience with the above duties, with the right attitude and work-ethic. Initial pay dependant on experience and certifications. Any formal electrical or mechanical training is a major advantage.
