The City of Albany, Georgia is seeking candidates to apply for WASTEWATER PLANT OPERATOR to perform specialized work functions associated with operating and monitoring wastewater plant equipment in various process areas to ensure proper and efficient mechanical/electrical operation. High school diploma or GED; supplemented by one (1) to two (2) years previous experience and/or training involving wastewater plant operations; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Must possess and maintain valid Grade III Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator certification within one year of hire. Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia Driver's License. STARTING SALARY $14.72 TO $18.30 PER HOUR, DOQ.
