City of Monticello

The City of Monticello will accept proposals for procurement of an automated meter reading (AMR) system which will allow remote meter reading without necessitating direct access to the meters.

Instructions for preparation and submission of proposals are contained in the RFP package; or contact Robert Jordan, Jordan Engineering, Inc., at (706) 468-8999 for more information.

A pre-proposal meeting has been scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 in Monticello city council chambers at 123 West Washington Street in Monticello.  All potential Proposers are invited to attend.

All proposals are due at Jordan Engineering, Inc., 144 N. Warren Street, Monticello, Georgia, no later than 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 22, 2009.  The names of the all Proposers will be read at a public bid opening at the Monticello city council chamber at 10:30 a.m. on the same day.
