The Georgia Rural Water Association (GRWA) is a non-profit organization representing rural systems throughout the State of Georgia in regard to drinking water and wastewater needs. The association is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors comprised of distinguished members of the water and wastewater industries. Active Members consist of public and non-public water and wastewater systems. Corporate and Associate Member support and participation is the foundation of GRWA's Partnership Program for rural systems.

to serve small systems in their commitment to provide safe drinking water & wastewater services to the citizens & visitors of georgiaOf the nearly 6,000 systems in the state, 90% are small rural systems serving less than 10,000 people. Often, the operating budgets of these systems limit their ability to address the many essential aspects of water and wastewater management. Examples of these are: compliance with state and federal regulations, fiscal management, system operation and maintenance, initial and continuing training needs, and liability issues. GRWA is available to assist member systems in many areas.
