Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day activities of a multi-discipline work team providing contract operations, maintenance, and management of public wastewater facilities
• Analyze operational process control procedures, maintenance procedures, and institute changes when necessary to achieve full compliance with all regulatory agency requirements as defined in the service contract
• Maintain accurate operational records and prepare reports
• Inspect facilities, evaluate O&M functions, review records and data, interviews and appraises personnel, and initiates and recommends new or improved methods or practices
• Ensure compliance with City, County, State, and Federal regulations and policies

 
Qualifications:

• High school diploma, college degree preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• 5 or more years experience, at least 3 years in a supervisory or personnel management role
• Valid Georgia Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator certification
• Possess exemplary leadership, communications, and team-building skills
• Strong detail-oriented work style
• Proven experience in making sound financial, technical, and human resources decisions
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office applications
