Water/Sewer Assistant

The City of Metter is accepting applications for a Water/Sewer Assistant. Minimum qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, a valid Georgia driver’s license, be in good physical condition, ability to read, write and perform mathematical calculations and a minimum of three years of experience in water/sewer or plumbing work.  Applications are available at City Hall at 49 South Rountree Street, Metter, Georgia.  Office hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a. m. until 5:00 p. m. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.

The pay range for this position is $11.50 hourly to $15.81 hourly.

All job applicants being considered for employment shall be required to pass a drug and alcohol screening test prior to being hired.
