Wastewater Collection Systems Operator

 The Jackson County Water & Sewerage Authority (JCWSA) is seeking a trustworthy and self-motivated individual to fill the position of Collection Systems Operator. Applicant will possess basic computer skills and be able to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing.

The Collections Operator will be responsible for operations and maintenance of the Authority’s wastewater collection system and pump stations in a safe, professional manner.  The JCWSA offers an excellent compensation package.

 JOB REQUIREMENTS:

 Have a High School diploma or equivalent (GED).

 Be able to read and write English well.

 Have a valid Georgia Drivers License.

 Pass a pre-employment physical with drug screen and criminal background check.

 Must achieve a Georgia Wastewater Collection System Certification within twelve (12)

 months from date of hire.
