Wastewater Plant Operator

Wastewater Plant Operator - The Jackson County Water & Sewerage Authority (JCWSA) is seeking an experienced Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator. Successful candidate will perform skilled and technical work in the operation of the wastewater treatment plant and collection system. Applicants must be physically able to perform job duties including the ability to complete maintenance tasks in various environments. Ability to work on-call weekends and holidays is required.

Successful candidate shall possess a High School diploma or GED, supplemented by current "Class 3" certification as a wastewater treatment plant operator as issued by the State of Georgia, and a minimum of 3-years' experience operating an activated sludge plant.

Successful candidate must possess a valid Georgia driver's license with clean driving record. Successful candidate will be required to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
