We provide in particular, Ice Pigging services. Our unique technology uses a thick ice slurry to clean pipes of different sizes and materials. Ice is pumped into the pipe and forced by pressure to remove sediment and built-up deposits to leave the pipe clear and obstruction free. Job Description
This person will assist the Ice Pigging Supervisor with the daily ice pigging making and delivery activities to ensure successful service work completion in accordance with scope commitment to the customer.
Duties and responsibilities
- Set-up and monitor the ice making process and delivery, as assigned, including documentation
- Maintain safe work practices
- Maintain strict quality control practices
Qualifications
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Water/Wastewater Operator License preferred but not mandatory
- Must hold a CDL
- Candidates with current Water/Wastewater Operator License but no CDL will be considered only if willing to obtain a CDL on joining the company
- Ability to operate a process computer and monitoring equipment
- Ability to take water quality samples
- Strong customer service skills
Working conditions
- Frequent overnight travel required
- Candidate must be willing to be away from home for long periods
- Works outside in the elements and around traffic
- Works variable hours and overtime as required
- Candidate must be able to work alone day or night
Physical requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
