The Macon Water Authority, which provides water and sewer service to approximately 50,000 customers residing in Macon - Bibb County, Georgia, is seeking a Director, Wastewater Operations to join the Management Team.

The Macon Water Authority employs approximately 200 employees and maintains an annual budget of $52 million in Operating Revenues with Net Assets totaling $217 million and nearly 2,700 miles of combined water and sewer system lines in place to serve the 150,000 residents of Middle Georgia. Requirements

To be considered for this outstanding opportunity, candidates should have 7+ years overall management experience preferably in the Utility industry or comparable setting. Work experience should include extensive knowledge of wastewater operations. A Bachelor’s degree and Class 1 Wastewater Operator’s License are required.  Candidate must have strong communication skills.
