Piedmont Water Company has an excellent opportunity for you! We are searching for a licensed Class I or II Wastewater Operator to join our amazing family! Our headquarters is in Eatonton, Georgia, and we have 4 wastewater treatment sites in the area. Daily activities would include:
- Operate wastewater plants, monitoring all equipment and chemicals to ensure effluent water meets applicable standards
- Work involves sampling, lab testing and operation of wastewater treatment equipment to ensure compliance with State of Georgia EPD permit requirements
- Monitor treatment process for compliance, inspect equipment, monitor conditions, meters, and gauges to determine requirements
- Work in multiple plants as needed
- Helpful if have maintenance and/or electrical experience.
Qualifications:
- Ideal candidate will be familiar with process control and pertinent lab procedures
- Valid Class II or higher Wastewater Operator License
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Maintenance experience preferred
- Strong detail-oriented work style
