Wastewater Operator

The Eatonton-Putnam Water and Sewer Authority is now accepting applications for the position of Wastewater Operator. Preferred successful candidate must have a Class III Wastewater Operator license at a minimum, Class II license preferred or the ability to obtain a Class III within 1 year.  Applicant must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent; be able to perform preventive and corrective maintenance procedures common to sewer; be able to lift moderate weight and be able to work with limited supervision. Candidate must have sufficient experience to understand basic principles relevant to major duties of the position usually associated with having held a similar position.  Candidate must have a current driver’s license and be able to provide a 7 year driving history if required.
