HIRING FULL-TIME FIELD TECH

The Hart County Water and Sewer Authority is hiring a full-time Field Technician. High School or General Education diploma required. Prior experience with a public community water system a plus. Must have or be able to obtain within one year a Georgia Water Distribution Operator license and Georgia Wastewater Collection System Operator license. Valid Georgia driver’s license and reliable transportation required. Duties include: marking new customer services; flushing lines; doing maintenance tasks such as replacing small meters, clearing brush, repairing minor leaks and hand-digging; reading customer meters; locating and marking water and sewer lines; turning customer services on and off; responding to leaks and assisting our maintenance contractor on major repairs. Must be willing and able to work in outside conditions at any and all times. Must be able to pass drug test and background check.
