Meter Installation Technician

The Jackson County Water and Sewerage Authority, located in Jefferson, GA, is seeking to fill the position of Meter Installation Technician. The applicant must be a Certified Water Distribution Operator in the State of Georgia, or have ability to obtain the certification within 18 months of employment with the Authority.  A successful applicant will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid Georgia driver license with a clean driving record, and a basic knowledge of math and computers to include a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.  In addition to an appropriate technical background, the applicant shall have the ability to deal tactfully and courteously with the general public.
