Utility Operations Technician
 

The Bryan County Board Commissioners are now accepting applications for a full-time Utility Operations Technician.

Under general supervision this position is responsible for the repair and maintenance of the County's water and sewer infrastructure.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or G.E.D. Basic computer knowledge. Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the position. 

EXPERIENCE:

1 to 3 years of experience in maintenance and construction activities related to water and sewer operations.

KNOWLEDGE OF:

Materials, methods, tools and equipment used in maintenance and repair work of water distribution and wastewater collection systems. Safety precautions and occupational hazards in the use of equipment; safe work methods and practices.  

LICENSES:

Georgia Class C Driver's License
