JOB OPENING: UTILITIES ENGINEER
The City of Calhoun is seeking an EIT graduate Engineer. Under the guidance of a licensed Professional Engineer, the successful candidate will perform a diverse range of engineering tasks. The tasks will include planning and designing water and sewer projects, contract administration and construction management, preparing contract documents, surveying using GPS equipment, inspecting construction projects, performing hydraulic modeling, taking classes to be certified in Erosion Control measures, and learning to use AutoCAD, ArcGIS and Microsoft Office. Must have strong writing and interpersonal skills.
