Water Treatment Plant Supervisor

Piedmont Water Company is opening a water treatment plant and would love for you to join our family!

Requirements:

Valid Georgia Class I  Water Operator’s license

Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in SURFACE Water Treatment Plant facility

Minimum of 3+ years’ supervisory experience

Knowledge of state & federal laws governing WTP facility & of water treatment techniques, application of chemicals, use of equipment, etc.

Excellent communication & problem solving skills

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid Georgia driver’s license or ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment

Ability to work night, day, weekends, and/or holiday shifts

Pre-employment background check & drug screening

Duties:

Manage and oversee daily operations of Water Operators on varying shifts

Oversee all requirements with plant permits, state & federal laws, safety standards, county policies & Company policies

Perform administrative tasks like data entry, generating reports, order supplies, read blue prints, etc.

Develop & oversee Water Operator work schedules, training, discipline issues, etc.

Evaluate & prepare budget & safety procedures for WTP
