Of the more than 3600 permitted public water and wastewater systems in the State of Georgia, more than 90% are systems serving less than 10,000 people. The Georgia Rural Water Association (GRWA) is a non-profit organization representing systems throughout the State of Georgia in regard to drinking water and wastewater needs. The Association is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors comprised of distinguished members of the water and wastewater industries. Active Members consist of publicly and privately-owned water and wastewater systems. Corporate and Associate Members of GRWA also play important roles through their support of and participation in GRWA's Partnership Program for water and wastewater systems.
