Industrial Maintenance Technician
Sinclair Water Authority is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician
The individual will primarily be responsible for maintaining and repairing plant equipment. Experience in electrical equipment, pump maintenance & repair, controls installation & repair as well as experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and controls a plus.
Duties-
- Conducts regular operating checks to ensure all equipment is operating properly
- Performs routine preventative and corrective maintenance
- Maintaining Plant grounds and equipment including pumps, meters, piping, chemical feed systems, filters and systems, Raw Water intake equipment and all other associated facilities and equipment
- Maintains a computerized maintenance program
- Calibration of process analyzers
- Building maintenance including custodial work
- Be willing to work nights weekends, holidays and be on call 24/7.
- Other duties as directed by the Plant Manager and Lead Operator
Minimum Requirements-
1. Good driving record and valid GA drivers license
2. Completion of two years education and/or experience that provides the necessary skills to complete the responsibilities
3. Candidates subject to FBI background check and drug testing, must have good driving record.
4. All new hires are subject to a 6 months probationary period which can be extended at the discretion of management
4. A Class III Water Treatment license will be required within one year of hire
Salary will commensurate with experience and will be discussed in an interview
