Water Treatment Plant Operator

The Butts County, et al. Water and Sewer Authority is accepting applications for a full-time Water Treatment Plant Operator.  This will be for night shift work.  Current Class 2 or 3 Water Plant Operator certification from the State of Georgia is desired.  The Authority will consider a non-certified operator trainee if applicant demonstrates existing abilities in math, chemistry, and maintenance.  The salary range for Class 3 Georgia Certified Operator is $29,400-$45,804.   The salary range for Class 2 Georgia Certified Operator is $32,413-$50,499.  Must have a high school diploma or GED.  The deadline for application is March 25, 2019.
